The smelting furnaces of Val Fucinaia, dating back to VII-VIII century BC and the Archaeological Park of San Silvestro, a beautiful open-air museum tell the fascinating story of metalworking in Etruscan and in later centuries.
Among olive groves, vineyards and the Mediterranean, runs the Wine Road of the Etruscan Coast, the cradle of fine DOC Val di Cornia, where they meet farms and farms producing also the excellent extra virgin olive oil and tasty local typical products.

In August, the most picturesque corners of the historic village, are made events and shows "ABC Festival Apriti BORGO".
Inviting paths in the green hills and woods can be covered on foot or by bicycle.
